Beauty & the Boss is now Gazelle Works!
Beauty & the Boss began as a career coaching service focused on supporting women in the AEC industry as they positioned themselves for promotions and pursued meaningful career pivots. As demand grew, the work naturally expanded into conference speaking and delivering trainings on topics such as career leadership, negotiation, and professional networking.
Over time, new referrals and inquiries opened the door to broader opportunities. I began facilitating workshops for municipalities, partnering with ERGs to strengthen engagement strategies, and leading Principal and Board retreats.
Through these experiences, I discovered a deeper calling: helping people feel genuinely connected—not only to their work, but also to one another. Career coaching remains a core offering, but Gazelle Works now provides the platform to create greater impact, build strong partnerships, and deliver a wider range of services that support both individuals and organizations.
How did I come up with the name Gazelle Works?
Gazelles are graceful, agile animals that embody speed, strength, vulnerability, vigilance, and intuition. They also benefit by moving together as one and I believe there is power in respectful unity and agreement. Secondly, my middle name means “gazelle,” so it’s personal. Lastly, work refers to our core purpose of helping people prosper in their work and careers.
